Warehouse and Storage Dehumidification

Does your storage facility need Dehumidification? The answer is likely yes.

Engineered for efficiency, built to last.

What is warehouse dehumidification used for?

Many people mistakenly associate temperature with damage to products.

Although some materials are prone to damage at high and low temperatures, the vast majority of product issues arise from uncontrolled humidity.

Common issues found within storage facilities are:

  • Mould growth
  • Condensation
  • Degraded cardboard
  • Corrosion of metals
  • Product clumping/caking/breakdown
  • Damage to electronic components
  • Peeling labels

The materials being stored will ultimately determine the ideal humidity to be maintained. Storage dehumidification where multiple materials are being stored requires careful consideration to find the optimal balance.

Humidity control is specifically useful in uninsulated buildings as is permitted under Part L building regulations. Warehouse dehumidification is maintained against prevailing temperatures, meaning subject to the products acceptable temperature range heating and cooling is often not required.
